Festive Attire

Join us at our second annual Forward Together benefit as we celebrate the impact that Young Judaea camps, Israel programs and year-round activities are making, and have made, in the lives of so many generations of young Jews. Connect with old friends, relive your favorite Young Judaea memories, and witness how Young Judaea changes the lives of its participants, and how they in turn change the world.

This year, we recognize Young Judaea and Tel Yehudah Board members and alumni Jennifer Sylvor and Steve Greenberg for the integral roles they have played within the movement and in the Jewish community at large, and we present YJ alum and leader Alon Tal (aka Albert Rosenthal) with the Ani V’ Atah Award for his visionary leadership and activism within the Israeli environmental movement.  Collectively, their impact on Young Judaea has been huge, but their influence on the world and their commitment to tikkun olam (repairing the world) has been even greater.

The evening will also feature a “White City” theme to celebrate Young Judaea’s move from Bat Yam to a new center in Tel Aviv-Yafo. The Center, centrally located in the Montefiore neighborhood, offers the opportunity to fully integrate the wonders and lessons of modern Israel into our Israel programs curricula, adding and contrasting to our students’ time spent immersed in the historically rich milieu of Jerusalem. Our students can now live, learn, work and volunteer in the epicenter of Israel’s commercial, financial and high tech revolution, and experience the hub of Israel’s modern culture and 24-hour, vibrant, internationally acclaimed city life.

As an independent 501(c) 3 charitable organization, Young Judaea depends on the support of its alumni, family, and friends—on your support—to deliver our high quality, immersive, impactful educational experiences. Philanthropic donations like yours ensure the affordability of our programs, as more than 30% of participants require financial assistance, and even full tuition covers only 80% of costs. As our major yearly fundraiser, your participation in Forward Together enables us to continue to create the leaders and activists of the Jewish community and the world at large.

Let’s move forward together to build Young Judaea!
